Give in Person
Whether you join us for a program, a meal in our market, or simply to enjoy the campus, in-person gifts are always appreciated. Both the Ridgebury Meetinghouse, Inc. and Ridgebury Congregational Church are 501(c)(3) charities, meaning your donation is fully tax-deductible and supports the long-term preservation of our campus and the development of programs for our community and beyond.

Note: Gifts made by mail at year-end must be postmarked in the same calendar year in order to receive credit for that year. We cannot credit gifts postmarked in January for the previous year.

Donate Stock or Mutual Funds
Gifts of appreciated securities—stocks, mutual funds, bonds, ADRs (American Depository Receipts), and other assets—may offer you greater tax benefits than selling and donating cash. Consult with a tax professional to understand the benefits of donating securities.

Note: Stock transfers can take 4-5 business days to settle, and donations will be credited when the transfer is complete.

Donor-Advised Funds
You can contribute through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), such as Fidelity Charitable Giving. If you are using a DAF, your tax receipt will be issued by the Fund, not The Meetinghouse, but we will include your donation in your annual contribution statement.

PayPal Giving Fund
The Meetinghouse is a registered charity with PayPal Giving Fund, allowing you to donate directly from your PayPal account. Donations made via this platform will not receive a tax receipt from The Meetinghouse directly, but they are processed through PayPal Giving Fund and will be reflected in our annual giving report. Please allow 15-45 days for donations to process, especially near year-end.

You can donate via PayPal’s direct link. We also accept donations via Venmo, Zelle, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. For questions, contact us.
